So I am having this issue swallowing, but it has gotten to be a series of mini-panic attacks when I go to actually drink something. I think I haven't gotten the hang of "sipping". I literally cannot swallow, breathe, talk or burp without it feeling like someone is stepping through my chest! It usually starts with like an abundance of saliva in my mouth that is forcing me to swallow, I get the gas pain, let out a whimper (to which one of my kids usually comes running over to pound on my back) then get a lovely dose of hic-ups.....
I felt so down yesterday! I just wanted to crawl back in bed (which I actually did on 3 occasions). I have been so fortunate to have had so few problems, pre or post banding. I am going to stay positive and take a walk to start out my day. It is supposed to be a scorcher here in Western NY today.
Thanks for the vent.
Amy
"I’ve got problem for your solution…"

Ooooh Amy, you seem quite swollen still. You should notice that ease off a lot I'd imagine. I did fill up super quickly, but I can't say I had any trouble swallowing. Everyone is different though and I've noticed an awfully broad range of experiences post band. You're doing a great job of keeping active. Good on you; keep positive, many, many people feel down in the first couple of weeks following surgery. xx
