This week has been nutsy! I can't tell you how this happened, but I somehow have committed to training for the Chicago Marathon next October with two of my closest friends, neither who have ever run a race.... I have actually run 6 miles this past week and my feet and hips didn't revolt! A little background on my running history: I ran Chicago in 2001 and weighed 186 pounds on race day. That is 20 pounds more than I weigh right now!! I can't believe how I actually LOVE the feeling of running now. I am really excited.
Now, another friend (who as of tonight I totally love because he called me skinny, no, really skinny HA HA HA!!) is doing a mini-tri in Ireland in September. Guess who is actually thinking about it? I am nuts.
I have never liked my body this much, can't really figure out why I want to punish it so much!! LOL
